"I'm very happy with this board. I am confident I picked the best and safest board for learning. I was able to skim board a little on my first trip (just enough to prove I can do it, with practice); and I did not get injured. (I'm 67, so safety is important; especially since I learned to surf late in life, albeit I have some competence on skateboards with shark wheels, and this transferred well to skim boarding. ) Customer service is fabulous and I have high confidence in the design of the board since my other board is a Odysea (tm) log (which has served me well). My favorite advantages of this board: on days when there are no waves, I can still skim board. Also, I like the fact that I can ride in to the beach without worrying about damaging fins; and it fits into any vehicle easily! It's so light. What’s the difference between the Blair pro and just the normal one
Hello Will - There is no difference besides bottom graphic and deck color. The Blair PRO is Blair's signature coloway with his logo; but in terms of overall performance and construction, they are the same. Thank you!
Can a Traction tail pad be applied to the Boog Skim ?
Hello! While you can put a tail pad on a soft board it is not recommended since there is a high probability of the traction pad falling off. Happy shredding!
CAN I apply a surf traction pad to this board ? If so will it stay on ?

Are there any size weight limits? I am 6’1” 215lbs. I also have two young boys. Right now we pack multiple sizes of boogey boards and skimboards for the beach. It would be great to be able to pack fewer boards.
Hello! The BOOG SKIM is more geared towards lighter individuals. Check out the 54" Beater! That's a great option for the whole family. You can skim it, surf it and bodyboard it! The 54" Beater packs 35 liters of volume which is plenty for your size! Happy shredding!
