"I love this thing. Paddles as easy as a board one or two feet longer and has great drive, even in weak or below-avearge surf. This thing is stable but is still maneuverable and playful--really fun. This thing has disrupted my quiver in a great way. Really hard not to want to just ride this thing, even on days where longboarding seems the more rational choice. Such a fun ride! Stoked to try it with the Catch Surf twin keel fins next!"

5’8” quad fin heritage retro fish
"Have been interested in Catch surf foamies for a while and when I saw the new model retro fish I decided to break down and buy one. I’m 38 5’11” and 205 lbs. Was a fairly advanced surfer at one point but over the years I don’t get to surf nearly as often anymore going from a few times a week to a few times a year if I’m lucky. Have given it a real good test now in a couple 2 to 3 foot mushy sessions in Tamarindo and man this thing rips. It’s fast and surprisingly responsive. I’ve put the board on rail, done a few big floaters, zipped past flat sections, and have been able to keep up with the longboarders in fairly gutless surf. Not only does the board rip but it’s also a great one to throw in the board bag for added protection for your PU or epoxy boards. If the surf craps out pick up the retro fish and add more fun to your session. The orange color is rad too. Looks even better in person. When this one dies I’ll definitely get the exact same board again."

"I’m in SWFL so I haven’t even been able to surf it yet since Ian came through and I didn’t get the fins with the initial delivery but Catch Surf is a classy establishment! Their customer service is top notch and very easy to work with! Thanks again Catch Surf!"
