Great addition to my quiver

"Great addition to my quiver considering I’m trying to enhance my skills on a smaller board. Works best in waist high surf and above and still provides plenty of float to get into waves easily."

Love me some Catch Surf.

"Love me some Catch Surf. Teach my 6 and 7 year old on them and when they're done I can jump on it too for my own surf sesh. Starting to worry that I'm addicted to Catch Surf as now I want one every type of board! So much better than other soft tops"

Perfect size for what I

"Perfect size for what I need. Seems durable. Seems to hold an edge just fine. Keep out of the direct sun. Perfect for having fun in all conditions. No issues with the housing or durability of the board. Been a blast to ride."

Finally had the chance to

"Finally had the chance to try my new Stump in RI. Wow, I was litterally mindblown! I'm at beginner/intermediate level, been surfing on a 6.6 board for a long time and I didn't know what to expect from the Stump. It took me little time to adjust to the board (I had to position myself a bit more in front than what I was used to) and then the magic begun. I think that this is the board that I will keep using for a LOOOOOOONG time, thank you Catchsurf!!!"

Q&A

Just wondering what would be the better board for me and which board will be the best in regards to high performance. I am 5'11 and about 180 pounds. Was looking at either getting the 54 special or the 5.0 stump thruster. I have surfed the Chippa Wilson version of the stump thruster before and really liked it, but I want to know if the 54 special is better for high performance, or if they are similar. I like the 5.0 length so I will only want to get the 54 special if it has better performance.
Hello Luca! For your size and weight I think you would have more fun on the 5'0 Sump! The stump will offer you a little big more float making it easier to catch waves. Bothe the 54 Special and the Stump are high performance boards. Maybe check out the 4'10 Twig! All three of those boards RIP! Happy shredding!
What type of waves is this board suited for?
Hello Jon! The STUMP works great in peaky 2-4' beach break surf! It's a fun, fast floaty board! Happy shredding!
Hey! I have a 6'0 skipper I love but was considering something smaller as my kid is ridding it more. I'm 6'0 165lbs intermediate weekend warrior, surfing mostly Carlsbad breaks. Was considering a 5'0 stump or sizing down to a 5'6 skipper. Do you have any recommendations?
Hello! Stoked to hear you want to size down! The 5'6 Skipper, 5'5 LOST RNF, Heritage 5'8 (NEW!!!) are all excellent options! The 5'0 is fun but I feel you would have more fun on the other boards listed! Happy shredding!
hey, how soon will this board be back in stock? id love to get one but every time i look their out of stock lol.
Hello! We should be getting more in stock in November!! Sign up for the email notification, once the boards are back in stock you will be notified!! Happy shredding!
Hi guys, This is a very fun board I would like to know how much the board (with fins) weights. Is it possible that some water has got into it? My 5´0 quad is about 9,7 pounds (4,4 kg) Thanks in advance!
Hello! The Stump weighs roughly 10 lbs! We use a closed cell foam to prevent water absorption! Happy shredding!
