Capital F Fun Surfboard

"Purchased the new 10 ft log ,great board, I call it my (What Me Worry)board. Crowded conditions no problems if I happen too hit someone or hit myself no damage. When paddling for waves that slick bottom gets me in early and helps me stay late and at 75 years old I need all the help I can get 👍"

This surfboard is awesome. I

"This surfboard is awesome. I took a few years break from surfing and this has been getting me back in the water. Easy to paddle out and maneuver. Only thing I wish the board was a little more durable, it dinged right away and I think it’s more fragile than my fiberglass big board. I love it tho, highly recommend"

love the log

"Great beginner board! Customer service was so helpful when trying to figure out what size board to get. My husband is 6'1 and the 9'0" length is just right. I'm 5'0" and also love this board. It is solid and has made a big difference esp since we're just learning. Considering getting another log for myself! Love the color and print + always getting compliments. The board also fits in a model Y and Honda fit for those without a roof rack."

Really happy with this surfboard!

"Really happy with this surfboard! It’s well-balanced, lightweight, and super easy to handle even for beginners. The build quality is solid, and it performs great in small to medium waves. Shipping was fast and the board arrived in perfect condition. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, reliable board."

I enjoy the board size

"I enjoy the board size it holds my weight well being a big dude. I use the board for river surfing and I enjoy how I can latch onto a current with this board. The color of the board and the pattern on the bottom is neat."

Q&A

Howdy! I'm in Jax Beach with typical East Florida surf days. I'm a beginner with a few days clocked getting mental on the rentals over the years. Looking to get a soft board to get after it here in Jax. I'm 5'8" and 155#. Can you recommend the best board/configuration? Cheers!
Hello Dave - Stoked man! We suggest 8-0 Odysea LOG or 8-0 Wave Bandit Easy Rider. This is the perfect size to progress to next level; at this stage you want max wave count and a stable board to learn. And 8-0 size is super fun once you are more advanced. All you need is 8' leash and surf wax and you're set. All our boards come with fins. Thank you!
Hello! I am a beginner surfer and looking to buy a surfboard. I have been able to pop up and stand pretty easily on an 8ft board when renting (not sure if brands or models). I am 5’7 and 128 pounds and wondering what would be best. I live in the east coast so not any huge waves and I’m just looking to learn and get better. Thanks! Also - do the fins come with this? Thanks again
Hello Maxine - We would suggest either 8' or 7' LOG; the 8' will be easier to paddle and catch waves; which will help you increase wave count to progress faster. 7' will be a little harder to paddle and catch waves; but will be more maneuverable when riding; which will also help you progress faster. both boards will still be epic to ride once you advance as well; especially on east coast where waves have less energy and are smaller vs. west coast. All our boards come with fins. All you need is surf wax and a leash; which we have in our Boards/Accessories section. Thank you!
Hello, I'm an intermediate surfer looking for a board for crowded summer waves (knee high up to about chest high). I weigh 135lbs (height 5'6) and I'm debating whether I should go for the 7'0 or the 7'6 log. Also I would like to know if sealing the leash and fin screw holes could prevent water logging (I walk to the beach and I'm afraid that the log can get quite heavy when it takes on water). Thank you very much!
Hello Max - Both the 7'0" and 7'6" will work great in crowded small surf; both paddle well and catch waves easily. The 7'6" will be a little easier to catch waves and the 7'0" will be a little more maneuverable. So just depends what you value or want more. The finboxes and leash plugs come with silicone seals. The key is to use your fin key (comes with the board) and ensure all the deck screws are snug and secure and all will be good! It's good practice to check them regularly. Hope this helped! Please let us know if you have any more questions, etc. Thank you!
I just joined a veteran surf foundation that’s teaching surf therapy and after my first couple sessions I love it. I am a beginner and was wondering what size Log I should go for. I am 5’6” and roughly 195lbs.
Hello Andrew! Thank you for your service! We would suggest 8-0 Log; it has a nice mix of easy paddle/wave catching and maneuverability that is perfect for beginners. And as you progress, it is still super fun even for advanced riders. We do offer military discount. Our customer service team will email you the details. Thank you!
Hey yawl! I've been wanting to surfing for thee longest! Like, I've been to a few free surf lessons but, I'm hooked and I wanna go all in . I'm in South Florida area in LHP - between Pompano Beach & Deerfield beach. I'm about 6'0 and 245lbs. Struggling with pop ups but my balance is pretty decent ( I like to skate around my neighborhood on a cruiser board). I've been going back and forth between the LOG and Plank7,8 & 9 . What board do yawl think would work with me best ?? Please and thank yewwwwww!
Bee! Thank you for reaching out! Stoked to hear you want to go all in! For your location, size and weight I would strongly recommend the 8'0 or 9'0 LOG! Either one of those boards will provide maximum float for you! Happy shredding!
