    Got the 7’6” Plank and

"Got the 7’6” Plank and feel like I won the surfing lottery. This has quickly become my go-to-board. Regardless of conditions this board gets me into waves set after set. Enough float to make it a dream to paddle out and into a wave. The rounded tapered tail allow the board to turn smoothly with ease. Been out on some 2-3 days and this board ate up the steep drop and put me right down the line beating sections. I always want to give a shout out in appreciation to the great people at Carch Surf. Been a firefighter for over 25 years. Riding soft tops keeps me in the water injury free. Catch Surf performance designs like this Plank are unbeatable. If you want to get in the water and have some fun this is exactly the board your looking for."

    Fabulous and fun surfboard

"I'm 6'0", 220 lbs, 65 yrs old, forever a humble beginner. I bought the Odysea 9' plank single fin. Applied a thin coat of wax and allowed it to "melt-in" for a few minutes in direct sun. Perfect grippy surface. Surfed small, 1 - 3 ft beach break. Noticed several good things. The board is light and therefore straightforward to carry to the beach (a "Board Buddy" provides a really helpful assist). It paddles well and catches waves early and easily. The board is amazingly resistant to pearling thanks to the generous rocker and distributed floaty quality of the foam, especially in the nose. It was easy to track down the line and to steer, albeit the turning radius is large. Overall this is an incredibly fun and friendly board that I can't wait to surf again soon. Get one."

"I love my new 9’ plank! Easy to paddle and to catch waves. The board turns quickly and can hold trim in the face of the wave. Makes surfing super fun."

    Q&A

How many pounds does this board weigh? I recently bought one two weeks ago and it’s leaking water. I just wanna make sure it’s not waterlogged. Can you tell me what this Board should weigh new? Thanks!
Brenden! The 9'0 PLANK out of the box should weigh roughly 20lbs. We use a closed cell core material to prevent water absorption. It's normal for a little bit of water to drain out of the finbox! Happy shredding!
