What are the dimensions of this and could the bag fit in a carry on suit case?
Hello Emmett - The racks in packaging: 17”x8”x4”. And each rack is 16"x3.5"x1.5"; comes with two (2). You would have to measure your suit case to determine if they fit. Thank you!
Hello! I'm wondering if this rack will work on a two-door car with a rounded roof. I drive a Volkswagen Beetle and have been searching for a surfboard rack that'll work with my car for quite a while. Thanks!
Hello Kayla - The soft nature of the racks allow them to flex making it possible to use on a more curved roof. Just be sure to not use a board too long since the space between the two pads will be shorter since only a 2-door vehicle. Also, be sure to face bottom of the board up (so waxed side down) with tail forward; this makes the rocker of board curve with the car and creates downforce to keep the board steady on the rood when you drive. Hello! That's a really good question! My initial thought would be no, the wind might create too much flex on the roof thus making the board bounce around. These racks were developed to be used on a hard top vehicle. Happy shredding!
