Got these for my 5

"Got these for my 5 year old's skipper quad. The fins have just a little give very near the edges. I'm not sure how much safer that actually makes them, but I hope to never find out. My son loves green and he is super stoked to have them. He tells me my boards aren't cool because I have black fins. I guess I'm the uncool old guy now."

Are these compatible with FCS II fin boxes?
Hello! Our fins are not compatible with the FCS II fin boxes! We use our own fin box! Happy Shredding!
What would be the difference versus the fins that come standard with the board? Is there a slight decrease in performance with the safety edge?
Hello Eric - Our boards come with hi-performance fiber-filled fins; these are similar to what comes with a fiberglass surfboard. Our safety edged fins are fiber-filled, a little thicker with no foiling and soft rubber edge vs. sharper hard edge.
